Description

Insulating materials are non-conductive materials under the allowable voltage, but they are not absolutely non-conductive materials. Under the action of a certain applied electric field strength, processes such as conduction, polarization, loss, and breakdown will also occur, and long-term use will also occur. Ageing. The resistivity of this product is very high, usually in the range of 1010~1022Ω·m. As in an electric motor, the insulating material around the conductors isolates the turns from each other and from the grounded stator core to ensure safe operation of the motor.

This product is the basis and guarantee for the development of electrical products, and plays a particularly important role in the development of motors and electrical industries. The development and progress of insulating materials depends on the development of polymer materials and directly restricts and affects the development and progress of electrical products. .

The commonly used insulating materials for motors are as follows, if you want to know, please take a look:

1: Films and composite materials for electrical applications

Several polymers can be made into thin films with different properties and uses. The electrical film is characterized by thin thickness, softness, moisture resistance, good electrical and mechanical strength. Commonly used electrical films include polyester film (E grade), polynaphthyl ester film (F grade), aromatic polyamide film (H grade), polyimide film (C grade), polytetrafluoroethylene film (H grade) ). It is mainly used as motor coil wrapping insulation and winding liner insulation.

Two: insulating mica and its products

There are many kinds of natural mica, and the micas commonly used in electrical insulation are mainly muscovite and phlogopite. Muscovite is colorless and transparent. Phlogopite is close to metallic or semi-metallic luster, and the common ones are golden, brown or light green. Muscovite and phlogopite have excellent electrical and heat resistance, chemical stability and good corona resistance. It can be peeled into elastic sheets with a thickness of 0.01~0.03 mm. It is an important raw material for the manufacture of high-voltage insulating materials.

Three: laminated products

Laminated products commonly used for motors are formed by hot pressing glass cloth (or mesh cloth) impregnated with glue (such as epoxy resin, silicone resin or phenolic resin). Among them, phenolic glass cloth board has certain mechanical strength and electrical properties: but its resistance to splitting is poor, and its mildew resistance is average, so it is suitable for making general insulating parts. Epoxy phenolic resin glass cloth board has high mechanical strength, good moisture resistance, electrical properties and mildew resistance. It is suitable for high-voltage motors as absolute components, and it is suitable for use in humid tropical areas. Silicone glass cloth board has high heat resistance (H grade) and good electrical performance, but its mechanical strength is lower than that of epoxy phenolic glass cloth board. It is suitable for high temperature resistant insulating parts and is also suitable for mixed tropical areas. Laminates are usually used as slot wedges, slot pads, insulating pads and terminal blocks in small and medium-sized motors.
