When selecting electrical tape, we should pay attention to whether it meets the requirements of use: its performance should be consistent with the relevant national standards or industry standards; its material should be environmentally friendly and not harm human health; its mechanical properties should meet the requirements of use; its insulation performance should be stable and reliable; its waterproof performance should be good; its temperature resistance should be high; its fire resistance should comply with relevant national standards or industry standards; its cost should be reasonable. In addition, we should also pay attention to whether the color of the electrical tape conforms to the requirements of use. For example, black electrical tape is usually used for general insulation; red electrical tape is usually used for fire-resistant insulation; green electrical tape is usually used for grounding wire insulation; white electrical tape is usually used for neutral wire insulation.
